Launch of exclusive James Herriot books
Four exclusive James Herriot audio books have been launched, with part of each sale supporting Herriot Hospice Homecare.
The books, released exclusively by The World of James Herriot, give people the opportunity to hear from Alf Wight, under his pen name of James Herriot, reading his own stories of life as a country vet in North Yorkshire. They are called ‘If Only They Could Talk’, ‘It Shouldn’t Happen to a Vet’, ‘Let Sleeping Vets Lie’, and ‘Vet in Harness’. The books are the only recordings ever made of Alf Wight reading his own books.
The audio books, which are available to purchase now, cost £12, with £5 of each purchase supporting Herriot Hospice Homecare and the work that we do to support people living with terminal illness and bereavement in Hambleton and Richmondshire.
