Carver Group 3 Peaks Challenge
Volunteers at The Carver Group will be taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge in August in a bid to raise money for Herriot Hospice Homecare and St Teresa’s Hospice.
The team have set a target of raising £1,000 for each charity ahead of the 24-hour challenge which starts on 5th August and involves climbing up Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike. This will entail 13 hours of hillwalking and 11 hours of driving between the mountains in England, Scotland and Wales.
Henry Carver said: “Nick and Gordon Carver Estate Agency work within the same areas as both charities, and over the last 25 years we have seen first-hand the invaluable support they have given.
“James Carver, the branch manager at Richmond and Northallerton, is one of Herriot Hospice Homecare’s Trustees and is playing a supporting role within the future development of the charity.
Hiking up the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales is something few people aim to do in a lifetime, but we can’t think of a better way to raise money for two very worthy causes.”
The nine people taking part are Henry Carver, David Buckle, Rachel Carver, Tom O’Neil, Gordon Carver, Jack Braley, Chris Farlow, Adam Swalwell and Gayle Partridge.
They have set up two Just Giving pages for both charities which are:

St Teresa’s Hospice - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Carver3PeaksChallenge
They have also been selling raffle tickets from all of their offices over the last few weeks, with a one-night stay at the Crab Manor Hotel as the prize.Article Posted 15th July 2016
