Helen is just one of our remarkable HOME team members visiting people in the place they call home to give them support when it’s needed most.

She said: “I am so proud of the difference we can make to people in our local community.

“For example, in December last year, our team travelled almost 10,000 miles across Hambleton and Richmondshire, and delivered 536 hours of care. I love being part of such an amazing team.

Helen is bravely taking on a sky dive in March to raise vital funds for hospice care, motivated by personal experiences which help her empathise with the families we support.

Helen said; “Losing both my parents, a sister and other family members, I truly understand the importance of personalised care for people in their last days. That’s why I’m so passionate to raise money and awareness for Herriot Hospice Homecare.”

We wish Helen the best of luck and can’t wait to hear all about her skydive. There’s still time to make a donation to Helen’s Just Giving page.
