Our Community Hub sees our staff and team of dedicated volunteers welcome local people to purchase refreshments and find out more about our range of services and how they can help you, or your family and friends.
It’s a social space for everyone across our community, whether they’re living with terminal illness or bereavement or not, or using Herriot Hospice Homecare and Just ‘B’ services already.
The Community Hub is open 10am-2pm, Monday-Friday, and you can also find out more about volunteering or fundraising for us.
Please note the Hub is closed on bank holidays.
It also hosts some of our other services, including our Wellbeing drop-in (Tuesdays 2-4pm).
During our opening hours, we also welcome local groups using our Community Hub space to gather and meet. Just come along.
Looking to host an event, or book a venue for a regular get-together? We’d love local groups, organisations and businesses to get in touch!
We’re building an exciting schedule of activities and sessions for the whole of Hambleton and Richmondshire to come and join in Thirsk. From book clubs to social groups and support drop ins to clinics. Our space is for our community to gather in, connect and enjoy.
Our community hub features:
If you run a club or project which you’d like to regularly host here, please tell us about it, who it’s for and when you’d like it to take place. We’ll see where it could fit into our schedule.
If you’re hosting a one-off or ad hoc event, drop us a line and we’ll let you know our availability and price.
