Herriot Hospice at the Lambert Community Hub

The Community Hub provides a space where our staff and volunteers will welcome local people with the opportunity to purchase refreshments and find out more about our services and ways to get involved,

How can the Community Hub at Herriot Hospice at the Lambert help me?

Our Community Hub sees our staff and team of dedicated volunteers welcome local people to purchase refreshments and find out more about our range of services and how they can help you, or your family and friends.

It’s a social space for everyone across our community, whether they’re living with terminal illness or bereavement or not, or using Herriot Hospice Homecare and Just ‘B’ services already.

The Community Hub is open 10am-2pm, Monday-Friday, and you can also find out more about volunteering or fundraising for us.

Please note the Hub is closed on bank holidays.

It also hosts some of our other services, including our Wellbeing drop-in (Tuesdays 2-4pm).

Welcoming local groups to use the space

During our opening hours, we also welcome local groups using our Community Hub space to gather and meet. Just come along.

“After my dad’s passing, I was told about the Herriot Hospice cafe, I went there, almost turned around but am glad that I didn’t.

"I met some very nice people there who talked to me. I got some really good information about counselling, I am very glad that I didn’t turn away and feel better now. Still sad, but better.”
