Bike it. Hike it. Kayak it.
Join Herriot Hospice for an action packed adventure in the heart of the spectacular Lake District National Park and take on an inspiring challenge across land and water, all while raising vital funds to support local hospice care.

Challenge Overview
Your journey begins on two wheels as you cycle through the scenic trails and woodland tracks surrounding Coniston. From there, you’ll swap pedals for walking boots and tackle the ascent of the magnificent Old Man of Coniston, one of the Lake District’s most recognisable summits. After taking in the panoramic views across the fells and lakes, you’ll finish your challenge with a kayak journey across Coniston Water, surrounded by some of England’s finest scenery.
The challenge includes approximately:
🚴 10 miles of cycling
🥾 5 miles of hiking
🛶 2 miles of kayaking
Whether you’re taking part with friends, family or colleagues, this is a fantastic opportunity to push yourself, enjoy an incredible day outdoors and make a real difference for Herriot Hospice.
Join us on 19 September 2026 and help ensure more people receive the care and support they need when it matters most. If you cannot make it this year, we have already arranged a date for 2027, 5 June🧡
