REGISTER YOUR INTEREST FOR 2025!

If you’re interested in running for Herriot Hospice Homecare in 2025 and would like to join our waitlist to hear if any places become available, please get in touch by completing the form at the bottom of this page.

About the event

The Great North Run is the world’s biggest half marathon, with over 57,000 people taking part every year. Famous for its warm North East welcome and electric atmosphere, this event is not to be missed! The route takes you through Newcastle, over the iconic Tyne Bridge and on to the finish line in the picturesque coastal town of South Shields, where our team will be waiting to congratulate you after you cross the finish line.

By taking on this challenge and raising £300, you could help our dedicated healthcare assistants continue to travel to provide two weeks’ worth of care to a patient in the place they call home, surrounded by the people and things that mean the most to them.
