We are thrilled to announce that our brand-new Herriot Hospice Moonlight Glow Walk will be lighting up the streets of Thirsk this October! Join us for an exciting night of celebration and togetherness, and walk a 5k route under the stars to support Herriot Hospice!
Our Moonlight Glow Walk is everything bright and glowy! So bring your glow sticks, your neon clothes and your lights, and get ready to glow the night away in support of local hospice care!
An event filled with love, light, and community spirit!
The night will begin at Thirsk Racecourse, where we will gather in the event village for some pre-walk entertainment from 5.30pm before setting off at 7.30pm! Grab yourself a hot drink and soak up the community-filled atmosphere, or treat yourself to a bite to eat at one of our food vendors. Add some extra sparkle to your night with our neon face-painting and glitter hair station, and join in the pre-walk warm-up.
Whether you are walking in memory of someone, raising money for the local hospice, or joining to support the community, everyone is welcome! We are so excited to be bringing this amazing event to Thirsk; so, wear your brightest clothes, bring your glow sticks, and come join us for a memorable and energetic night!
What’s included in your ticket
(for adults and children over 13 years)

- Pre-walk entertainment, warm-up, and event village.
- A fully-marshalled 5k route.
- Entertainment on-route, and opportunities to remember loved ones who are no longer with us.
Every adult and older child ticket includes a T-shirt and medal. Younger child tickets include a medal.
A ‘glow pack’ can be added to your online ticket order for £5 per person, which includes glowing headgear, glow sticks, and flashing glasses!

Group bookings
To book tickets as a team, order the ‘group ticket’ options no the event registration form. The person booking will be the group lead. People may wish to walk as a team if they are wanting to create a joint fundraising page, and we welcome corporate teams to take part.
All teams of 6 and over can get a 20% discount. Please email events@saintmichaelshospice.org for your unique discount code.
