Celebrity vet Julian Norton and his four-legged friend, Emmy, will once again take the lead in this unmissable sponsored walkies, taking pooches and their owners on a 5k summertime stroll in the beautiful countryside surrounding Thorp Perrow, Bedale.
As the popular TV series 'The Yorkshire Vet' returned to screens this Spring, fans have the unique opportunity to step out as part of this unmissable event and meet Julian and the team while raising funds to support local hospice care.
After the success of the 2017 debut Yorkshire's Biggest Dog Walk, this year's event returns bigger and better, supporting two Yorkshire-based hospice care charities: Herriot Hospice Homecare and Saint Michael’s Hospice.
Hospice care is about everyone, and most importantly it is for everyone. Herriot Hospice Homecare and Saint Michael's Hospice share a vision that anyone affected by terminal illness in our communities can access high quality hospice care and support.
Working together is one of the key ways we can make this vision a reality by coming together with clear purpose and passion to achieve something that is so much bigger than the sum of our parts.
When taking part this July, walkers can choose whether they raise funds for their preferred charity, or step out in support of both hospices.
