At Herriot Hospice Homecare we realise that the work that we do is exceptional, and so are our staff.

Our Staff

We have around 60 part-time staff and hundreds of volunteers who cover a wide range of roles - Respite Sitters, Drivers, Befrienders, Bereavement Counsellors, Receptionists, Shop Managers, Grant Administrators, Fundraisers, Care Assistants, Healthcare Assistants, Service Co-ordinators, Finance Assistants, Admin Staff, Managers and a Chief Executive. We also have an excellent board of Trustees and Advisors and a number of supportive Patrons.

We are looking for people with either or commercial or not for profit experience with the right skills and attitude to make a difference. Whether you want to work for us, or volunteer, if you have the right skills I am sure we will have a role suitable for you!

We ensure that all our staff receive regular training and are kept connected to our cause, with updates and talks available from professionals, as well as regular newsletters.

We also keep staff wellbeing high on the agenda.

Our Location

Our offices are based in Northallerton, but we cover over 1,000 square miles of rural North Yorkshire from Thirsk to Scotch Corner and Hawes to Great Ayton.
