About Us

Herriot Hospice Homecare is an independent Charity set up in 1992 for the benefit of local people.  The Charity works in partnership with local hospitals, doctors, nurses and social services and is a part of the Community Palliative Care Team.

The charity aims to enhance the quality of life and enable patients with life-limiting illness, whose preferred place of care is at home, the opportunity to exercise the choice to do so by providing specialist palliative care workers and trained volunteers, who provide support for them and their carers.

Hours of Operation – Normal office hours are 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 24 hour answerphone is in operation which is regularly accessed outside of office hours.

We now have a charity shop in Northallerton (opposite Argos). We are open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm.  The shop phone number is 01609 761156.
